August 8, 1973 – October 12, 2021

Dana Marie White McCrea 48, a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away peacefully at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center Bluebonnet, on Tuesday October 12, 2021. Dana proudly served in the U.S. Army for 4 years, during the Gulf War. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her father; Odis White (Sharon); two sisters, Denise Simpson (Brad), Diane White; brother, David White; two nephews, Julian Rousseau, Barrett Simpson; four nieces, Maranda Abbott (Taylor), Ariel White, Alleigh Shupe, Emma Shupe, as well as some great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Walker, paternal grandparents, Leoma and Luther White; maternal grandparents, William and Geneva Barclay. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 12pm until Celebration of Life Service at 2pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.     My dear,sweet,loving cousin Dana oh how I missed you and now I will miss you forever and ever.We always had alot of love,fun times and happiness when we were together.Im beyond shocked by your passing.I was so happy when you finally came up here to Andrea’s house and we got to visit for a while.I will always have that happy memory forever.I will always love you and never ever forget you and your love for life and family.Rest in peace

    So sad to hear this news.
    Dana and I were biology study buddies and good friends back in the early 2000’s.
    Such a funny, kind and smart lady.
    She will be missed.

    Dana was a good friend. We served in the Army together and she always had a smile on her face. Her bright uplifting nature will be missed. Thank you for being a friend, Dana. Go be with the angels.
