Margaret Gayle Anderson, 63, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021. Gayle was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She drove a school bus for many years. She loved and was loved by all of her “bus kids”. She will be missed dearly by all that knew her. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Friday, November 26, from 9 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Pounds-Poole Cemetery, Bogalusa, at 3 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Theodore “Junior” Anderson; children, Roxanna Anderson Brown, Tabitha Williams Jackson, Joanna Anderson, Mathis Anderson, and Dawn Fontenot; grandchildren, Donald T. McDonald Jr., Peyton R. McDonald, Alanna Wheat, Harlie Wheat, Layla Wheat, Logan Jackson, Mylana Fabre, Colebyn Fabre, Abriana Kallam, Alianna Kallam; and Ethan and Caden Anderson; great-grand daughters, Nevaeh G. and Akynzie K. McDonald; brothers, Michael and Calvin Johnson; stepmother, Nelda Johnson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Dylan Dalgo and Alex Wheat; sister, Wendy Johnson; brother, Ray Rowell; sister in law, Annette Hawk; parents, Calvin “Pete” Johnson and Margaret Penton Johnson; and Ronnie Johnson, who she took in and cared for as one of her own. I met Gayle and Junior at the ball park when the boys played on my son’s baseball team and I fell in love with all of them immediately. Gayle was a precious lady who loved her family immensely. She always had that sweet smile on her face no matter what and I will miss talking to her from time to time. May God hold Junior, the boys and the entire family in the palm of his hands during these sad days and weeks ahead.
