Roy was not only the world’s best mechanic, but a great friend who would do anything for you. In the seven years we knew Roy, he never hesitated to answer a question or come to our rescue. (Once, he even drove several hundred miles to bail us out when our slide wouldn’t come in.) He knew his stuff, and when he didn’t have an immediate answer, he would study prints and read books and call friends until he figured it out. He was always happy to show me his latest tool (toy), which he would sometimes throw when he became frustrated! I always enjoyed discussing current events and politics with Roy, too. We will all truly miss Roy, but we will keep many fond memories of this one-of-a-kind fellow.

I wonderful man. My son worked beside him for a long time. Roy could figure out anything on a motorhome. He worked on every one I ever owned. He would even come when he was off if I really needed him. He will be missed greatly. He is now working beside my son in heaven.
