John passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at his home in Denham Springs at the age of 57. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM until a memorial service at 2:00 PM. He is survived by his father, Stanley Thornton; daughters, Michelle Thornton Hurley and Ashley Thornton (Kevin Hailey); sons, Shaun Michael Thornton and Victor Beck Thornton (Desiree); step-son, Nathan Graffia; sister, Marie Watford (Greg); brother, Dustin Thornton (Cindy); grandchildren, Trey, Tatum, Tynleigh, Logan, Addelynn, Starlynn and Victoria. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Leonna Thornton; 3 grandchildren, Hunter, Walter and Zechariah; ex-wife, Amy McCormick.
