A ceremony celebrating the life of Rita L. Snell will be held on Wednesday January 26th, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Seale Funeral Home; visitation will begin at 10:00 am until time of service; inurnment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Father Matthew Graham of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church will officiate the services. Rita was born on February 19,1964 in York, Alabama and departed from this life on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center; at the age of 57 years. She was a resident of Denham Springs; she retired as a dental assistant after many dedicated years. She was an avid Saints fan, loved to shop with friends, go out to eat at her favorite restaurants, and spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by son David J. Snell Jr.; husband David J. Snell Sr.; mother Gloria L. Williams ; father Robert N. Fleming Jr.; brother Mark S. Fleming; sister Lisa F. Kidd. Survived by son Jeret M. Snell and wife Cassie; brother Robert โ€œYogiโ€ M. Fleming and wife Pamela; granddaughter Hailey Snell; grandson Hudson Snell; host of nieces and nephews; loving friends. She will be remembered for her loving and caring nature towards all. Memorials may be given to one’s own choice.

    I was so sorry to hear. Loved Rita. Worked with her in Denham Springs for years. Sweetest and funniest person. Sending prayers to Jered and family. She will be missed.
