January 20, 1958 ~ March 7, 2022

William Timothy Miller, of Baton Rouge, took his first steps into eternity on March 7, 2022 at the age of 64. Tim was known by his faith in God, love for his family, and always having a funny story to share. Of the many great memories his family has, storing up hundreds of pounds of red beans for Y2K, playing slap bass during worship, and asking them to perform Play that Funky Music at his funeral are among their favorites. He is survived by his son Brady and wife Sarah and his son Nic and wife Jessica; seven grandchildren, Adalyn, Teagan, Amalee, Madison, Emmarie, Elliott, and Ella Joy; siblings, Wayne, Gary, Becky, Darryl, and Danny; as well as his long-time friend Gail Allen. He is preceded in death by his father William and mother Mildred. Visitation will be held at Victory Harvest Church on Monday, March 14th at 9:00 AM until a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your favorite charity in Tim’s name.

Just found out about this Today! Tim and I grew up together at Douglas Avenue Baptist Church since we were babies and got married and moved away. I saw him a few years back when he came to our house and had a nice conversation. I am totally shocked and saddened. He was such a special friend and Christian. My condolences to the Miller Family.

So sorry. When I was in New Orleans for my transplant and April needed a break, Tim was always ready to come down and stay with me. Always provided a smile even when we went to Wal-Mart, as long as we got donuts. Will be greatly missed.
