January 25, 1945 – March 14, 2022

Family was everything to Connie Bea.  She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.  Her kitchen was always open to a home-cooked meal as everyone knew she was an amazing cook.

After losing her husband of 36 years, she met her loving companion of 15 years, “PaPa”
Jacques Major.  They enjoyed years of riding motorcycles, dancing and traveling. They shared a special love that was evident to everyone.  She adored his family, children and grandchildren as well.

She enjoyed many years of fishing and spending time on her house boat with close friends and family.  One of her absolute favorite activities was mowing many acres of grass.  She took great pride in her property and had a specific method to mowing and would not allow anyone else to mow it!

She will be missed immensely,  however we have comfort in knowing that she is now with her Heavenly Father enjoying pure perfection and joy and we will see her again one day.

She was like a mother to me and always included me and called me “one of her own”. She was such an amazing lady, loving and kind hearted. Her smile and laughter lit up a room and she drew people to her. I loved her ways especially how she felt about her lawn. She brought such joy and laughter to so many! I will be forever grateful to God that He caused our paths to cross through her daughter Lesia, my friend/sister. I know that she is healthy and happy and at peace now. Mama Connie, thank you for loving me and causing me to feel like I was always welcome and a part of your family! You’ll always live in my heart. I’ll see you on the Other side! Lovingly, Lulu

So many good memories of Connie Bea at the camp in Pigeon and just visiting at other times. Her tomato gravy was the absolute best. RIP Miss Connie and enjoy all the sparkle and bling that heaven has for you. You will be missed.

I can remember so many things and so many memories racing through my mind. Everything that I remember are happy times. We played ball, fished almost everyday in our younger years, watched our girls ride horses and belong to the Livingston Parish Drill team, went to the houseboat, cooked meals together and so many other things and I remember all with a smile. What will we do without her? She will want all of us to go on as she would do. She will cook her wonderful meals in heaven and be with her loving doll. I will miss you and you will never be forgotten.
