George Young was 89 years old when he passed away on March 29, 2022. He was a millwright by trade. He was a resident of Denham Spring, LA. He served six years n the U.S. Air Force as a fire fighter. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Percy and Ella Young, his wife Glenda, son Donnie and daughter-in-law Devin He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Kenny, Rita, Myrtis, Margie, Elvie, Bobby, Jesse, Helen, Dempsey, and Betsy. He is survived by his four daughters and sons-in-law, Toni and Kevin Watts, Sandy and Jay Thompson, Pammy Brunner, and Tammy Young; fifteen grandchildren and thirty-eight grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs of Friday, April 1, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation on Saturday will resume at 9am. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family. He loved farm life and enjoyed sharing his crops with so many people. We would like to thank Pinnacle and Clarity Hospice for the amazing care that was provided to him. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Jude Research Hospital in memory of George Young, or pay it forward.

So very sorry to hear this. Mr young was a good customer where I work. Very sweet person had the best veggies. Bought many from him. Always brought me green tomatoes. May her rest inpeace

Our prayers for George Young’s family in their loss. We pray for God’s Peace now & in the days ahead. I remember George as a sweet man always welcoming & friendly.
Always seemed to not mind when his wife, Glenda Sue wood have a bunch of people over. RIP George & Glenda Sue! We I’ve you!
