Price, William

April 25, 1967 – April 28, 2022

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend went to his eternal home on Thursday April 28, 2022. He just turned 55 years old. Today is truly a sad day for many. Rick was a friend to all he encountered never meeting a stranger. People were naturally drawn to him and his infectious smile. Rick was extremely proud to be co-owner of price Home Solutions Remodeling Company with his wife at his side, his biggest cheerleader. He said with his chest out and his head held high, “I no longer work for the man I am the man!” The people who really knew him know of his love for Reese’s cups, the drums, and that once in a while prank call with his friends as “Jerry Heir” (Here) are just a few things that made Rick, Rick. But his love for his family, especially his wife, is what he lived for. He would not want us to be sorrowful but instead raise a glass and celebrate. Sending him a cheerful farewell. Rick would always say “love life, love each other, and rock on”.. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 10 years Tanya Lynelle Price; mother, Peggy Willis; beloved Aunt Dot; four sons, Zachary Clark, Landon Price, partner Jonathan Burleigh, Corey Price, Micheal Ingerson, partner Amber Kaiser; three daughters, Paige Clark, Lynsey Pouncey, husband Ricky Pouncey Jr., Brittany Price, Partner Austin Green; six grandchildren, Layla Grace, Hayden, Kinsley, Paisley, Dean and one on the way; brother, Dwayne Price, Wife Shannon Price; two nephews, James Long, Tylor Miller and many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, on Friday May 7, 2022 from 10am until Celebration of Life Service at 2pm, conducted by Rev. Paul Pierce. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Billy” Price; stepfather, Jim Willis; maternal grandparents, ED and Myrtle Bailey and his paternal grandparents, W.C. Price and Leola Price. I met Mr Rick yrs ago and I’m sor sorry for y’all’s loss but that man in few words taught me alot about life and in many more words taught me that one I was stupid for being as young as I was and in the place we met and three he left a big impact on me showing me that no matter how bad it was keep smiling and even when he was pissed off he smiled and it was kinda funny cuz I remember him almost being in trouble for it but somehow talked his way out of it . And I never got to thank him and I just want anyone that don’t know that he was a big influence on me and I will never forget how he told me it was gonna be if I didn’t pull my head out my ass and boy was he rite and everytime I got in trouble I just laughed after a few moments of thinkin cuz I knew exactly what he would have said .( Damn son not again ) and smiling while he said it . Everyone has many purposes in life. Ricky’s biggest purpose was to make Tanya happy. To know love, is unforgettable.
