Mrs Jean and Mr Elmer were a wonderful part of the lives of all who knew them. I also have memories of days spent at the Red Top and the beautiful hospitality Mrs Jean always showed her friends. And she had lot of friends. Stopping by to visit with Mrs Jean and Sassy was always a pleasure. She would bake Buck a lemon meringue pie because it was his favorite and send us a pan of cornbread dressing every Thanksgiving. She will be missed by us all. We were blessed to have her for so long. Now she’s back with Elmer and I know they’re both happy in Heaven.
