Lewthwaite, Jennifer
Jenni Lea (Thompson) Lewthwaite
March 2, 1985 – May 24, 2022
Born to Hopeton and Sharon Thompson at Portsmouth Naval Hospital Portsmouth, VA.
She is survived by her son Joel Thompson, brother Jeremy Thompson, and sister Janna Thompson. Also, numerous family members who loved her dearly.
Jenni was a graceful pianist, an artist, and was a runner in her teen years winning numerous trophies.  She also ran the Pittsburgh Marathon in 2001.
Jenni was a sweetheart and the gentlest person you could ever encounter.  If you knew her struggles, you would know how brave she was.  She suffered  a lot in this life but maintained a loving and peaceful disposition. She is now in Heaven where the weight of this world has been lifted from her and she is totally healed and safe with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
John 3:16, 17
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God sent not  His son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
Jenni loved Jesus and put her faith and trust in Him.  This is why even though we grieve for her, we have peace knowing that we will see her again.
We will have a celebration of her life in Lancaster, PA which will be livestreamed.  Date to be determined.

    Thompson family,
My heart goes out to you. I knew Jenni in my teen years and always knew her to be a genuine, sweethearted, godly person. I longed to touch basis with her in our adult years. My heart has been broken over the pain that Jenni lived through. I cannot wait to see her in the next life. Praying for your family, and Jeremy and Janna. I cannot imagine losing such a dear sister. <3 Amber

So beautifully written and captures the sweet wonderful person we knew and loved. She is with Jesus, walking the streets of gold now, in her glorified body and mind.
