September 7, 1941 – May 27, 2022
Alfred G. Todd, “Al”; a resident of Denham Springs born September 7, 1941 was called by the Lord May 27, 2022 at the age of 80 surrounded by loved ones. He was a man of strong faith with a servant heart and a warrior for Christ. Al loved his family and friends, he was a teacher to his children and others close to him to have respect, integrity, compassion, and a strong work ethic. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Michelle & Rusty Holmes, Mary & Robert Mayo, Mike & Paula Todd and Matt & Dawn Todd, grand-children, Megan & Colby Geismer, Blaine & Kristen Todd, Kimberly & Austin Drury, Hunter & McKenzi Holmes, Ben Todd, Zachary Mayo, James Todd and Sydni Mayo, great-grandchildren Gage & Logan Geismer, Mason Todd, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife & soulmate, Mickie Todd, parents Jim & Bea Todd, in-laws A.B. & Katherine Broussard, brothers, Jim, Russell and John, sisters, Adele Mayeux & Bea Lou D’Aquin. Visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs on Thursday, June 2nd from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm. Al was my first Lead Draftsman when I first move to Baton Rouge in 1974. Al took me under his wings to show me the ropes. 47 years later I was able to Retire. I owe this all to this man. Not only did he become my boss but became a Really Good Friend. I was not only close to Al, he introduced me to his Family. Who also I have grown close too! His Wife Mickie Was my go-to for girlfriend problems and she also fed me a bunch of times. Al and Mickie will be missed by me and his family and all the others he helped through the years….Until we meet again keep those Jambalaya Plates coming!!!! Love You Buddy!!!
