My condolences to Donnie Wayne’s family. When I read the notice in the Advocate this morning, many memories came flooding back from so long ago. He was my “boyfriend” when I was in junior high at Central. We all attended the Saturday shows at the Carol Theater, as well as dances at the school gym. I have thought of him often over the years. Nothing but good memories of a dear friend.

Don and I have had an extensive long 30+ year friendship. He was always a great friend. We have shared so many misc conversations about many different things. Just 6 years ago he went out of his way to come to my wedding in Pittsburgh. Many memories will never be forgotten. RIP my mane.
