Jeffrey Lang Thornton “JT” , age 66 of Baton Rouge, La, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. Memorial services for JT will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Grace Community Baptist Church in Lettsworth, La. JT enjoyed a life of socializing with friends and family, hunting, fishing, and in his younger days he was an avid motocross racer. He loved his kids and grandkids and bragged about them often. His life’s stories will live on through the memories with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Myrtis Thornton of Baton Rouge. Those left to cherish his memory include son, Brett Thornton of Lettsworth, daughter Taylor Thornton of Baton Rouge, son Maxwell Thornton of Baton Rouge and 6 grandchildren: Ryleigh Blount, Jayden Magee, Gabriella Taylor, Jillian Taylor, Brodie Bonnecaze and Phoenix Thornton, due in November.
