December 8, 1959 ~ August 27, 2022

Roxanne Abshire 63 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend was called to be with Our Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was born to Dalton and Marie Abshire in Sulfur, Louisiana. Roxanne was very involved in her school and proud to have graduated a year before her graduating class. She had dreams to be a nurse and raise a family. She loved hanging out with her lifelong friend, Dennis Chauvin, who later became her son’s godmother. She enjoyed cookouts and just hanging out with family and friends. She knew everyone in town and everyone spoke so highly of her and told you what a good hearted person she was.

Roxanne is survived by her son, Ryan Lowe; her brothers, Troy, Dalton, and Oscar Abshire; sister, Kathy Abshire; and son-in-law, Jeremy Avants; grandsons, Christian and Braiden. Roxanne was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dalton and Marie Abshie; and her son, James Woods.

Visitation will be held at Miracle Place Church, Baker, LA, Friday, September 2, from 3 p.m. until the celebration of her life at 3:30 p.m. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.

What a wonderful woman who will be missed dearly. She is with her son James and her mom and dad but that still doesn’t help with the huge hole in people’s hearts that are still here. Rest in Peace mother n law you will always be loved

Ryan, there are no words to ease your pain or repair your broken heart. I am sorry you are going thru this again. In less than 9 months you lost the 2 most important women in your life. My heart hurts for you. I love you dearly sweetie. I will be there tomorrow.
