Uncle Douglas was a man marked and changed by Jesus Christ. He had two lives, one before Christ and one after, and only after his radical encounter with the King of Kings did he truly live. He was a man of great faith and power, and is now fully alive in Jesus. In the words of Billy Graham, “He is not dead. He has simply changed address.”

It was an honor and a privilege to be his Bible concordance, encourager, and listening ear for the past 10+ years as he walked his Christian journey BUT most of all it was a honor and privilege to be his sister for the past 58 years. I’m going to miss this talented, kind, quirky, and funny man! I LOVE YOU!
