Jerry, 85, passed away from complications from Alzheimer’s at his home on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. He was a native of Holden, LA and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Retired from Circle K after 40 years, he continued working for various companies until 2016. He was a former member of the Air National Guard (Air Force). He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Ann Blackwell Roberts; son, Eric W. Roberts; two daughters, Wanda Ann (Brian) Mayers and Sandra Roberts; six grandchildren, Jeremy (Brandi) Mayers, Justin (Whitney) Mayers, Lindsie (Kasey) Byers, Shelbie Bailey, Jared Roberts, Paige (Corey) Guercio; six great-grandchildren, Addison Grace and Will Mayers, Sterling and McCoy Byers, Parker W. Carney and Briggs E. Roberts. He was preceded in death by daughter, Suzanne Roberts; parents, Foster and Annie B. Roberts; two brothers, Raymond and Lynwood Roberts; five sisters, Isola Babbitt, Golda Watson, Patricia Watts, Quida Corbett; and Maude Lea Holloway. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the Pinnacle Hospice team, Shelly, Ferral, Berratta, and Mike for the compassionate care provided. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a favorite charity in the name of Jerry Roberts. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.
