Dale Wesley Sterling, age 51, a real estate investor who worked with his brother in the family business and lived in Walker  with his family, tragically died on Friday October 7, 2022.

Dale was born on August 26, 1971 in Joplin, Missouri to Henry and Maryella Sterling.

 Dale’s humble life made a huge impact on his community.  Dale loved big, and he brought smiles and laughter everywhere he went. Dale was a generous giver to those in need. He offered help, support, and words of encouragement to everyone he met. Dale was a friend to all. A gift to this broken world. He will be greatly missed.

 Dale is survived by his wife Catherine Sterling and their children: Samantha Jo Easley, age 26 (Drew),  Roger David Sterling, age 18,   Isaac Jason Sterling, age 18,  Westin Samuel Sterling, age 11, Theodore Dean Sterling, age 6,

His grandchildren::  Willis Drew Easley III, age 2,  Mary Hollis Easley, age 1, Mother: Maryella Sterling, Brother: David Sterling and sister-in-law Kim, Nephews, Colby Dale Sterling and Carson Henry Sterling. Dale was preceded in death by his beloved father Henry Walter Sterling

Services will be held at Judson Baptist Church in Walker, LA on Thursday October 13, 2022, Visitation hours are from 10-2 and service will be at 2pm

 Romans 8:38-39-  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    I worked Dale on a number of real estate deals and he was always so humble and kind. He was truly a unique and special person. He always spoke softly and had a smile on his face. His passing is a shock, and my prayers go to his family! May God Rest His Soul!

    Anyone who knew Dale knew the positive impact that he had on them. I have never known a time that he didn’t have a smile on his face. The world lost a good one. I’m sending all my prayers to his family in this time of need. R.I.P. Dale I will miss you greatly

    I remember Dale from my years as a teacher at Walker High School. He was always so happy and funny. My heart goes out to his family.
