Maurello, Angela

Angela Rae Maurello, age 54, entered into the presence of the Lord on November 20, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Angela was born on March 26, 1968 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Cynthia Lynn Triche and Huey Jean Henderson and was the oldest of 3 siblings, sisters Sherri Henderson and Kimberly Sterling, and brother Scott Henderson. Angela was a genuine woman of God, a firm believer in Christ her Savior, and always strived to be someone who would always be remembered by her unwavering faith & Christian heart. Angela spent some earlier years working as a dental assistant but spent most of her precious time as a homemaker. Angela was a devoted wife to her husband, Charles Maurello, for 34 years and proud mother of her beautiful daughters, Jaime and Chloe.  She found her ultimate pride and joy in her children and her 2 grandchildren, Ellie and Brentley Dauzat who she absolutely adored. Throughout her precious time here with us, she kept a kind and nurturing demeanor that impacted the hearts of many.  Her signature gift of love and faith, shown throughout her life no matter the adversity she faced, was admirable and left a legacy for those left behind. She inspired others with her perseverance and faith by overcoming her own challenges and enduring every day with admirable strength while always keeping her love for Christ at her core. Possessing a true servant’s heart, Angela loved and cared for people and would do anything for anyone. Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy are her husband, Charles Maurello, her children, Jaime and husband Chris Dauzat and Chloe Maurello, her grandchildren Ellie and Brentley Dauzat, sisters Sherri Henderson and Kimberly Sterling, and brother Scott Henderson along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Cynthia Triche, and Huey and Josie Henderson, both her maternal and paternal grandparents, and father and mother in-law, Jimmy and Anita Maurello. Her memory will forever be cherished and will live on in all the hearts of those that loved her. Services to be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 1pm-3pm at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

I am very sad for her departure but thankful for her life. Even though I haven’t had the opportunity to meet you in person nor the honor of knowing your wife; the interactions we have had, as well as the testimony of all that know both of you, state that you and your wife are exceptional servants of our Lord. Therefore, I am convinced of the following:
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1Thessalonians 4

Maria and I send our condolences to Angie’s family. We will miss her beautiful heart and the times we had together. She’s in God’s arms now feeling no pain. Even though she was beautiful behind her scars ,she’s now flawless . She knows her family and friends love her. She’s with God touring Heaven watching the flowers dance and seeing things that we can’t imagine. This can’t take away the pain from losing her, but we pray that this truth will stay on the hearts of those who knew her and will soon give them peace. God bless her family. We love you

I’m so extremely heartbroken for Chuck and for his girls and extended family. I rejoice in knowing Angela knew Christ and she now sits with her savior. That is the single most comforting thing to know your spouse is now with the Creator of life. You have my most sincere condolences. You are in my prayers Chuck. Rest in God’s unwavering compassion in the days ahead and keep your eyes on Him, for He is our hope and our strength.
