Emma Odgon Pearson 84, of Denham Springs, LA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday December 5, 2022. Emma was born April 14, 1938 in Sequoia, OK to Callis and Willie Dobbs Odgon. She retired from Denham Springs Elementary as a cafeteria worker. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Emma was survived by son, Joseph Pearson Jr. (Jeannie), daughter Tina Smith, grandchildren, Randall Smith, Kevin Pearson (Brittany), Kristy Smith (JB Pizzolota), and Coltin Dowen, great-grandchildren, Gregory Heck, Alexis Pizzolota, Andrew Pizzolota, and Axel Pearson. Sisters, Lucille Reese, and Delcia Battaglia (Jim).
Emma is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Pearson Sr., her parents, sisters, Lera Southern, and Wanda Odgon, brothers, Donald Odgon, Robert Odgon, Billy Joe Odgon,
The family will receive friends and relatives, Friday December 9, 2022 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA beginning at 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm. Internment will immediately follow at Faithful United Methodist Church Cemetery 14263 Hwy. 431 in St. Amant, LA.

I love you my Friend Tina your mom no longer has to suffer and is gone to heaven to be with her love of many years. Mr Joe no longer wants to wait. Prayers for the family.
