Bogan, John

August 6, 1944 – December 12, 2022

A loving husband, Father, Grandfather, great grandfather and friend went to his eternal home on Monday, December 12, 2022. He was 78 years old. John proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. He loved boating, tae kwon do and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon Gross Bogan; daughter, Lori and wife Nolaine Bogan-Potts; two sons, Steven Bogan and wife Deborah, Kevin Bogan and wife Brittany; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew and wife Kara, Misti and husband Chris, Mike, Matt and two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Silas. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, in Denham Springs, on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 9am until Celebration of Life Service at 11am, conducted by Rev. Paul Jones. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thaddeus and Lorena Bogan and his sister, Clara Lewis. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN., 38105. Condolences may be offered at www.sealefuneral.com

    simply enuf ,was a great man… the beast land loard i ever had!!!, and someone that makes sure you are happy and can and do the best for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    i am sorry for the family …and friends he had, family….of this man, should be proud, HE WAS GOLDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Kevin and family! I am so sorry to learn about Johnny’s passing. It was always so good to talk with him when he came to the CRBA office. I lost touch after I retired, but think of you guys often. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
