Troy Anderson Granger Jr 62 of Springfield, former carrier of The Daily Star and the Morning Advocate, died on Friday January 13,2023 at North Oaks medical center surrounded by his loving family. Troy was born on a Sunday July10,1960 to Troy GrangerSr and the late Aline Threeton Fontenot. Troy was a life long resident of Springfield and to know him was to love him. Troy had many collections and was well known for being able to fix almost anything. The highlight of his live was Melissa, his daughters, and his grandchildren. Troy was survived by the love of his life Melissa Atwood, his two daughters Traci Granger her husband Thomas Tenhaaf Sr and Megan Mccarroll her husband Kevin. His five grandchildren Thomas Tenhaaf Jr, Tressa Tenhaaf, Tristen Tenhaaf, Terra Tenhaaf, and Anderson Mccarroll. His father Troy Granger Sr and his wife Sandy, his two brothers Joseph Granger wife Carol and Ronald Granger. His mother in law Myrtis Miller and brother in law Christopher Atwood. Numerous nieces and nephews. Troy was proceeded in death by his mother Aline Threeton Fontenot, his Step father Robert Fontenot, Step mother Mary Graves Granger, father in law Kenneth Atwood, his brother Richard Granger his sister Melissa Fontenot, brother in law Wayne Atwood and sister in law Loretta Dianne Granger. A memorial service will be held at Victory in Christ on January 21,2023. 12-1 for family 1-2 for public with a service starting at 2.
