Ronald “Ronnie” Ray McCarroll went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in Holden, at the age of 57. He was born on Monday, May 24, 1965, to the late Patsy and Gene McCarroll. Ronnie was loved by all who knew him. He was a lover of music, Coca-Cola, and his dog, Princess.

Ronnie is survived by four brothers, Eugene “Dinky”(Kyle) McCarroll Jr., James “Humphrey” (Catherine) McCarroll, David Spanky(Mandy) McCarroll, and Michael “Mike” McCarroll; 5 nieces, Kimberely (Joe),Jessica (Jeffery), Jordyn, Elizabeth, and Abigail; 5 nephews, Kevin (Megan), James (Jacqulynn), Patrick(Gillian), Alex, and Cody; and 13 great-nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Victoria, Marley, Katelyn, Anderson, Shyanne, Hunter, Molly, Carson, Braxton, BraLynn, Gabriella, Colton, and Camryn; ex-wives Lynn and Tammy; close friends Candi McCarroll, and Jessica Gifford; and adopted nieces Alicia, Kendra, and Jessi. Heis also survived by extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patricia Leonard McCarroll; father, Eugene SampsonMcCarroll Sr.; two nephews, Kendal, and Jeremy; andspecial friend Charles “Olah” Higginbotham.

A memorial service for Ronnie will be held at Victory in Christ Church, 26012 HWY 42, in Holden, on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 11 am to 3 pm. The prayer service will be led by his nephew Kevin and the eulogy will be conducted by his niece Jessica.

    I haven’t seen Ronnie in years. Was sorry to hear of his passing. Always could count on him for a laughs & of course you had to endure his picking on you.
