Ricky Neal Boone passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 63 on February 15, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, La of congestive heart failure. He was born on May 7, 1959 in Dyersburg, TN to Burnic O’neal Boone and Madeline Robertson Boone. He was a lifelong resident of Denham Springs, La. Ricky enjoyed collecting knives for his grandsons, boat riding, swimming, mowing the grass, and also spending time with his best friend Rhino.
Ricky is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 37 years Elizabeth “Diane” Boone, a daughter, Amanda “Mandy” Maniscalco (Sam), two grandsons Byron Hutchinson and Danny “DJ” Rodriguez, and one granddaughter, Aaliyah Rodriguez and another on the way, Brothers George Gunter, Ernest Boone, and Burnice “Speck” Boone. As well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his daughter Alecia “LeaLea” Boone, parents, Burnic O’neal Boone and Madeline Robertson Boone, siblings Roy Boone, Bobby Boone, Buford Boone, Larry Boone, Terri “Boo” Boone, Tony Boone, Betty Smith, Ann “Popsie” Webb, and Tensile “Tensie” Summar.
The family would also like to recognize the following Pall Bearers: DJ Rodriguez, Sabastian Edwards, Chris Martell, Gage Boyd, Brent Boone, and Jarrett Martin and Honorary Pall Bearer and best friend George Gunter.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday, February 19, 2023 beginning at 11:00 am. until services at 2:00 pm; conducted by Rev. Paul Toups. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to invite all for food and fellowship at The Chapel of God, 30100 Mayer St., Walker, LA 70785.
