For years Joseph tried to keep his life on the right path, he enjoyed bow shooting, fishing, hunting and working on vehicles, four wheelers and boats with his “little buddy”, Hudson, who considered him superman. Joseph was naturally gifted, he could easily pick up on anything and seem like he was a pro. Joseph worked hard and loved harder until his disease of addiction would make its way back to the forefront of his mind. He struggled with drug addiction for half of his life, finally succumbing to a fatal overdose.

THANK You for the heartfelt honesty about the disease that claimed your loved one’s life. I did not know Joseph but while reading the obituary realized I did know his Grandfather Ron.

We are losing so many young men and women to addiction and overdoses and we all must speak out and insist that our local, state and federal leaders begin to focus on what is the real pandemic.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Joseph’s family and friends and I will say a prayer for him and those who loved him.

God Bless – Alicia Jones Walters

thank you so much, I have to speak out about the disease. It’s important to me to make it more aware of the damage it’s causing our familes.
