Mary Louise Stafford, 83, of Walker, Louisiana, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, March 6, 2023, surrounded in prayer and song by her loved ones. Mary was born in Amite, Louisiana on April 30, 1939, and she was a graduate of Independence High School. She had a love for family gatherings and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved holiday traditions, especially Christmas. To know her was to love her, and she never met a stranger. This was exemplified through her actions with anyone she came in contact with. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

Mary is survived by her two daughters Mary Elizabeth Brinegar and Rebecca Robin Griffin; grandchildren Aimee Chavers Martin and husband Justin; Courtney Renee Stafford; Charles Victor Stafford Jr. and wife Amanda; Thomas Blake Chavers and wife Emily; Samantha Chavers Lewis and husband Josh; Caitlin Morgan Stafford; Hannah Noelle Griffin, and Savanna Paige Griffin; great grandchildren Gavin, Bransen, Camden, Isla, and Aubrey along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband Gerald Bernard Stafford; parents Joseph and Mary Ferandi; siblings Samuel Ferandi, Salvador Ferandi, Jeanette Young, and Frances Griffin; son Charles Victor Stafford; and granddaughter Hayleigh Grace Griffin (Gracie).

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Thursday, March 9 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue Friday, March 10 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am with funeral services beginning at 11:00 am. Graveside service will follow at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery on Range Avenue.

    It was such a joy to have known Mrs. Mary . She was a quiet kind woman. She was the most happy in a room full of her family that she loves ao much. She was a tender woman with a soft heart.

    Mrs Mary always greeted everyone with her beautiful smile and gave the best hugs. Always a sweetheart and the love she has for her family shined brightly. She was so very proud of each of you especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our sincere condolences as She will be missed.
