July 22, 1947 ~ April 29, 2023

Howard Dennis, 75 of Denham Springs, LA passed to eternal peace on Saturday, April 29, 2023, comfortably surrounded by loved ones at his side at Baton Rouge General Hospital. Howard was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and graduated from Marquette University in nearby Milwaukee, WI, where he made many lifetime friends. At the time of his passing, Howard was a successful and retired entrepreneur who led an amazingly full life, touching, befriending, and helping many people in his new home state of Louisiana, where he lived with his wife Sandy Dennis, who only very recently preceded him in death. Most notably, together they traveled the world extensively, seeing places and doing things most of us could only imagine. His parents, Howard and Lillian Dennis and his step-father Jack Dennis preceded him in death. He was an avid sports fan and voracious reader. But most significantly, he left this world a better place than when he arrived. He is survived by his brother Jim, his two cousins Linda Kunke and Paul Tyler and many other relatives, along with his lifelong and loyal friend Mike Purcell and his devoted and beloved caretaker Hilda Wozny, and numerous friends. May he rest well in the eternal peace he has found. A memorial visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday, May 8, 2023 beginning at 4:00pm. Memorial services will be held at 6:30pm. If desired in lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
