Betty, so sorry to hear of your (our) loss in the passing of Allen. Worked with Allen for a number of years in the office business and not only considered him a business associate but also a friend. He will be greatly missed in the business community, his local community, his church community, his pastor community and of course his family community. To know Allen was to love him. He was and is a great man of spiritual strength who lived the life of Christ. I just heard today that his funeral was latter part of May and here it is mid June. Sorry missed the announcement in the paper, because would have been at the wake/funeral.
You and your family are in our Prayers. Shelley & Marilyn Joseph

Allen was a great man. He had a great bearing on a group of boys who have become great young men. We will keep the Betz family in our thoughts and prayers.

Mr Allen was a light to the people in his life. I could tell the day I met him that he would was going to impact my life. Mr Allen thank you for shining the light of God on me. Though our time as patient and nurse were short, you were a pleasure. My prayers are with the Betz family.

” Uncle Allen” as my family referred to him, was a large part of my younger years. As a young man, he would spend summers at my parents, Ray & Shirley Booty in Kentwood, La. Hunting & fishing along with helping with the chores of the dairy farm was a thrill for him & us, too. Lots of great memories of days gone by with Uncle Allen.
Jesus has him in his hands now & I know he is rejoicing with our Lord. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Allen and Betty Betz and their boys were dear friends we met while Bro. Allen was pastoring a small country church in Liverpool, LA (Days Methodist Church). They were a loving, generous, and hospitable family. Thru the years our paths crossed on other occasions where their service in the GOSPEL ministry took them. Always seeking to praise GOD and minister the WORD of GOD to tell others that JESUS Saves and delivers sinners from darkness into LIGHT and frees us from the Bondage of sin by HIS Death on the Cross of Calvary and empowers Believers by the Holy Spirit to live for JESUS in this earthly life as HIS Disciples and love GOD. Because JESUS defeated death by rising from the Grave, we too who are members of the Body of Christ, and by HIS RESURRECTION from the Grave and Ascension to the FATHER, JESUS intercedes for HIS PEOPLE until GOD calls us to our Eternal Heavenly Abode to be united forever and ever with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and all who are the Bride of Christ! Our sincere condolences to Bro. Allen’s sweet and precious wife, Mrs. Betty, all the children, grandchildren, and “Great Grands” and the many Friends who loved them. We will miss Bro. Allen’s sweet presence among us, but look toward to that GREAT DAY when All the Body of Christ will be together in HEAVEN!
