2023ObituariesVictor Ross Jarreau, Sr.

May 22, 2023by SealeUser3

Congratulations Victor R. Jarreau, Sr.!  You ran the race and have finished the course God set before you. Well done thy good and faithful servant.  Victor was a retiree from Rubicon Chemical as a product tech and a former employee of Turner Industries as a safety representative.  Victor had a servant’s heart and loved to serve others.

Victor was a devoted husband to his wife Judy Jarreau for over 40 years, as well as an awesome father and grandfather.  Victor leaves behind his wife, Judy Jarreau, a devoted son Victor R. Jarreau, Jr., and his son Ayden Paul; daughter Tabitha Dupuy, her husband Johnny and their four children Tristan, Callie, Jayda and Jordi as well as his siblings Daryl, Joshua and Patricia Jarreau. He is preceded in death by his parents Wally Wayne Jarreau and Shirley Lockhart and grandparents who raised him; E.C. Spiller and Dora T. Spiller.

Victor was an avid sportsman and hunter.  He went out of his way to witness to others and bring them to Jesus Christ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to Highland Lakes Crisis Network at www.highlandlakescrisisnetwork.com.  Highland Lakes is the crisis center that went above and beyond helping and looking out for us while we were in Texas receiving treatment for Lyme disease. Thank you to everyone who supported us the past 5 ½ years.  Victor was truly blessed.

Visitation will take place at Healing Place Church at 569 Florida Ave., in Denham Springs, Louisiana on May 25, 2023, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with service at 11:00 AM and burial to follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery, on South Range Ave., Denham Springs Louisiana.

Special thank you to Tom Hass who opened his home to us in Texas and gave us endless support and to Joe Martin, his bestfriend, who was always with us through thick and thin.
