Sybil Serrett Ainsworth, resident of Denham Springs, La passed away May 21, 2023 at age 96. She was born in Lake Charles, LA September 3, 1926. She graduated from Istrouma High School in 1943. She is survived by her brother: Stonewell Serrett, children: Barbara Deville and John G. Ainsworth, her grandchildren: James Kennedy, Aaron Kennedy, Melody Ainsworth and John L. Ainsworth and great grandson: Max Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Ainsworth and her granddaughter Jeanelle Ainsworth and many brothers and sisters. During her long life she enjoyed cooking, gardening, Sunday school class and entertaining family at the house her father John Serrett built for her in 1956.
Visitation will start at 12PM and service at 2PM Monday, May 29, 2023 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs and burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

I am so sorry about Aunt Sybil, she was such a wonderful person and I loved her. This a big loss for all of us but especially for you all. Keeping you in my prayers.

I did not meet miss Sybil but I heard great stories about her from James Cindy and max , they thought the world of her and loved her so. She must have been a beautiful soul.
