Delmas Wascom (Delmo & Poss) was a gentle, caring, and loving man that took pride in loving and supporting his family. He was born on July 12, 1938 to Olivia and Percy Wascom. He gained his angel wings on May 27, 2023. He was survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ann Wesley Wascom; his oldest daughter, Debbie Wascom Ridenour; his youngest daughter, Kathy Wascom Todd and her husband Mark Todd, whom he thought of as his own son; three grandchildren: April Rowan, Leanne Breaux, and Anthony Todd; 12 great grandchildren: Bryson, Chazity, Alyssa, Corbin, Marlana, Kaylee, Summer, Kameron, Kristopher, Kenton, Luke, and Arianna; two great great grandchildren; and four sisters: Jimmie Hughes, Brenda Averette, Betty Hughes, and Vicky Mounce. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Bonnie Wascom and Daisy Watts, his parents: Olivia and Percy Wascom, and a grandson: Cory Barnett. He always enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing Rummy or Rook with his wife, loved ones, and friends. He dedicated many years of his life and took pride in his profession of sand and gravel dredge pumps and equipment. He touched many lives, whether it was through his personal or professional endeavors; he was sure to leave a lasting impression on everyone he met. Pallbearers will be: Mark Todd, Anthony Todd, Doug Averette, Randy Hurst, Randy Russell, and Michael McKee. Honorary Pallbearer will be: Kendal Breaux. Service arrangements are as follows: Wednesday 5/31/23 Visitation from 5-9 pm and Funeral Service Thursday at 11 am with visitation prior. Condolences may be offered at www.sealefuneral.com
