Beverly passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her home in Watson at the age of 94. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on July 11, 1928. She was the daughter of George A. “G.B.” and Mary Jane Bridgers. Beverly met Dawes, the love of her life, and loved telling the story of how they met and were meant to be together, even though he was wearing “that horrible orange colored cowboy shirt”. Life was very busy for Beverly with Dawes, raising their children, cooking, antiquing, hosting parties, all while being a full-time bookkeeper for their business. She loved to laugh and always made sure other did so. Later in life she filled her days with visiting and hosting family get togethers, reading, trips to the casino and dared anyone to interrupt her while watching Wheel of Fortune.
