Melissa Mary Goldman “M&M” passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the Butterfly Wing at the Baton Rouge General Hospital on Florida Blvd., to be with her Lord and Savior. She is survived by her brother James Goldman, Jr; aunts, Dottie Knost, Melissa Alessi, Winnie Allen, Mary Fields and Lukie Goldman; uncles, Alonzo, Sam and Cecil Goldman, Tony Fields. and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Marie Goldman; grand parents Alonzo and Minnie Goldman; aunts, Sarah Lee, Pat Yost (Ajax), Susie Goldman; uncles, Donnie Lee, Douglas Allen, Marion Alessi, and Homer Knost; cousins, Andrew Alessi, Candice Knost. A celebration of Life service will be held at the Magnolia Christian Assembly, 16425 Magnolia Bridge Rd., Central City, LA on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10am. A special thanks to Joe and Autumn Thompson for the care they gave Melissa also special thanks to the doctors, nurses, aides and social workers at the Butterfly Wing. I just read this. Have thought about her often. I delivered her mail for several years and our friendship grew. She was truly one of God’s special children. I will continue to remember her and the good times we shared when we spent time together!

M&M was a special part of our Family here in Texas. All of her cousins here in Texas has beautiful memories of all the times spent together fishing an doing other activities.. We will miss her greatly. May God provide a beautiful home in Heaven an May M have a beautiful reunion with Family gone on..
