Howard “Laron” Johnston, age 76 of Livingston, LA passed away July 20th 2023. He is survived by his loving children, Sondra Johnston, Richard “Fudd” Johnston and wife Michelle Johnston, and five grandkids: Kaitlyn Bagents, Thomas “Dillon” Green, Madison Johnston, Kurt Merckel, and Tony Vince, and one great grandson, Ryan Bagents. He also has one surviving brother Homer “Carroll” Johnston and countless nieces & nephews. Laron also had a loving companion Rhonda Jeansonne who was there for him every moment. Laron is proceeded in death by his father, Quilla R. Johnston & Carrie Johnston. As well as three sisters Lottie Parker, Mary Smith, & Louise Smiley and one brother Hulon Johnston.
Laron served as a Sargent in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. Laron loved to ride his Harley Davison motorcycle, spending time at the pond feeding his alligators and fish. He would do anything for his friends and loved his family fiercely. He made everyone who knew him laugh, cry, and clap at all the stories he shared. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Services will be held on July 29th at Seale Funeral Home 1720 S. Range Ave Denham Springs, LA 70726
Visitation will start at 12:00pm and the Celebrations of his life will start at 2:00pm followed by his last ride to Evergreen.

My Beloved Laron,
We loved enough in 3 short years that will last a lifetime. Your last words “Me and You. Me and You, Forever” will never leave my mind. While in your stroke, eyelids unable to lift…I lifted those eyelids and said “Hey, Laron! You in there?” You gave me a thumbs up. I ask “Who am I?” “My Sweetheart.” I hope you have now seen Jesus, your Daddy who you never stopped missing. Laron, you stole my heart…but…what is given freely cannot be stolen. Until we meet again.
