Anthony Joseph “A.J.” Pourciau, III, 83, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 at his home. A.J. served his country in the U.S. Navy and U.S Army. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. A.J. was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie K. Pourciau; children and their spouses, Debbie Anderson and Joey Carpenter, Paula Anderson and Louis Ledford, and Anthony “Tony” Pourciau, IV; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren who brought great joy to him; and siblings and spouseds, Mike and Linda Pourciau, Harold and Betty Pourciau, and Abby and Philip Leonard. He was preceded in death by his son, Leonard Darrell Pourciau; daughter, Renee Anderson; grandson, Michael Lee Roton; great-granddaughter, Marley Alyssa Roton; parents, Anthony “Tootie” Pourciau II and Lucy Truax Pourciau; and brothers, Robert and Alvin Pourciau.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. until service at 11:30 am. Burial with military honors will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.
