2023ObituariesJohn S Durham

September 27, 2023by SealeUser8
John S Durham went to his heavenly home on September 22nd and is rejoicing in the presence of our Lord and Savior. His battle with diabetes is over and is made whole again. We were blessed to have him for 59 years. He will forever be in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife Julie Beasley Durham. His sons Levi Durham, and John Aaron Durham. His stepsons  Asa (Sarah) Achee, and Bo ( Cheramie) Achee. Mother Frances Durham. Brother Jason (Kristine) Durham. He is proceeded in death by his Father John W Durham, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. Memorial services to be held at First Baptist Church 12329 Jackson St Clinton, LA 70722 September 30th at 1:00, with visitation at 11:30. He truly loved his work in the Industrial world for over 35 yrs.  If you spent any time with him, the conversation more than likely
had talk of family, the Lord, and defnintely cars or trucks of any kind. We often said that he had oil in his veins.

A truly wonderful neighbor! My boys loved taking to “Mr John” in his driveway and our dog loved to see him working in his yard. The Durham Cottage wouldn’t have been the same without him! Julie our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love from Texas, Randy, Carlye, Caleb, Bridges & Cort Travis

We are so sorry for the loss and I’ll miss my “yard chats” with John. Whenever I was under the hood of something in the shop, I always knew he’d poke his head in to see what was going on! He is a great man and it’ll be a great loss for us all. Julie, do not ever hesitate to call Sue or I for anything.
