Thank you so much for your kind note. The Batista family was always very special to my mother and our whole family. I’m grateful we got to grow up together at the studio. Wishing you all the best- Michelle

It is with great sorrow that we learned of Miss Margie’s passing. In a way, she helped us raise our four daughters by teaching them in her ballet studio, she was definitely part of our daily lives. We are eternally grateful. Up to this day we refer to stores and other addresses along Metairie Road as “two blocks past Miss Margie’s”, or “across the street from Miss Margie’s”, her studio being a point of good reference for us. She definitely left a good impression and beautiful memories in all of us. There is no better legacy. God bless her and her entire family. She will be sorrowfully missed but never forgotten.
