Helen Bruner, age 92, of St. Amant, passed away on 10/10/2023.  She was born in Alabama to Clayton & Lula Mills Beam in 1931. She graduated from Dubberly High School in 1949, marrying Mack Bruner during her senior year, and they were together for almost 70 years. For the first 20 years they moved many times, following his work. In 1968 they settled in St. Amant.   She is survived by 4 children: Susan Samson (Randy), Janis Bruner, Mack Randall ‘Randy’ Bruner (Cathy), and Thomas ‘Tommy’  Bruner (Maria), 12 grandchildren: Andrew Raborn, William Waggoner, Jennifer Coludrovich, Jeremy Breaux, Don Breaux,Jr, Caleb Bruner, Jarred Bruner, Nathan Bruner, Gisele Bruner, Brittany McCurry, Thomas ‘TJ’ Bruner,Jr & Josh Bruner, 19 great-grandchildren, & 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Mack, her parents, and 6 siblings:  Ann Reeves, Leo Beam, Pat Davis, Betty Beam, Hilda Pierce, and Michael Beam. Pallbearers will be  TJ Bruner, Josh Bruner, Caleb Bruner, William Waggoner, Don Breaux,Jr, and Andrew Raborn. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Breaux, Jarred Bruner, & Nathan Bruner. Visitation will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Monday October 16, 2023 from 10 AM-12 PM with service starting at 12 PM and burial to follow in Louisiana National Cemetery.
