He was 62 years old and a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Lil Denny will be remembered for his enormous heart he so freely shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. He was a genuine and down to earth guy, who never met a stranger. Childhood friend. Grew up with Denny Neal went to Howell Park, Prescott and Istrouma with him. Good friend and one of the neighborhood gang. Even went to Cub Scout Boy Scout meetings hosted at his house. I remember he was pretty good at basketball. In the Lord’s hands now.

I knew him many years and shared many good memories. He had a love for his children, his relatives in Morganza, his good friends, his company, and his Catholic faith. He had a true passion for basketball, and he even tried out for the Tiger team. He came to love history and visited many National Historic Parks with Jameson. He was blessed to have Scott, Carl, and John to see him through the years. He will live on through all those that touched his life.

Blessed to be a part of his life. Such a special, humble caring man. He never met a stranger in whatever elevator , restaurant , we were in. His humility shined brightly. We could all learn from Denny’s life experience. Thanks for being my friend.

I worked for Mr. Denny for 5 years and it was such a pleasure and blessing.. he treated me like his own son and never judged or looked down on me due to my situation… I was homeless and he did everything he could to help me get my life on track .. I will forever be grateful for his actions….

My sincere condolences for your family. I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Denny in October of 2021. He was such a genuine, truly good man, and I am blessed to have known him. We shared our Christian faith and I know he is in a beautiful place now. I can hear him saying “it’s the best place ever.” I pray that the comfort of the Lord is with you during this difficult time.
