Beck, Dianne

August 6, 1959 – October 12, 2023

Family and Friends: It is with a very heavy heart I share that Diane M. Beck departed from this life to be with the Lord on October 12, 2023 at the age of 64. She was the beloved daughter of the late, Mr. and Mrs. Killian Beck of Slidell. A dear sibling of Michael Beck (Connie), Dr. Bobby Beck (Suzy), Carolyn Fondo (Rich), Jane Biggs (Mark), Jeffrey Beck (Natalie), and Amy Gross (Chris). She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and 2 great nieces. She retired in Denham Springs, La, where she attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Bible studies and adoration. She retired from the Department of Defense where she diligently worked as a Contracts Administrator Manager for 25+ years. She finished her career with a Masters in BA from Colorado Christian University. Diane was a true animal lover. She adored spending time with her precious pets; Louie & Sparkles, reading with her book club, and exercising. She was a ‘die-hard’ fan of the New Orleans Saints & LSU Tigers, had a passion for all things Louisiana, a zeal for antiques and volunteering for Denham Springs Pilot Club. Diane, you will be deeply missed. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Denham Springs, La on Tuesday, October 24. Closed Casket Pre-gathering at 10:00am; Funeral Mass at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Denham Springs Animal Shelter or a No-Kill shelter of your choosing.

I was devastated to hear about Diane today! We have been friends since 1990. Spent the night at her home in Colorado Springs when we went to visit our relatives. So sorry for her family. Diane, Angelo and I love you and you will be deeply missed!

My heart goes out to the rest of the family. Diane and I reconnected a few years ago and shared stories from our childhood (I’m her cousin…daughter of Fred and Charleen Neely.) I just saw this today as my brother has been trying to reach her for weeks. She was such a kind, funny, loving, and giving person. I will miss our calls and puzzle exchange. 😢

She was a nice neighbor who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed dressing up for Halloween to hand out candy. She love her dogs and everyone elses. Condolences to her family.
