Christian Thomas Pinna, 29, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center, surrounded by his family and friends. Born September 8, 1994, in Brooklyn, New York, son of Robert Pinna and Heidi Figueroa, Christian was an electrician studying finance at Louisiana State University. He had also taken classes at Baton Rouge Community College. He loved math, science, and all football, especially the New England Patriots. He was very witty, competitive, and a foodie. He was perceptive and had a sharp intellect. Christian was also a member of River Community Church in Prairieville, Louisiana.
Christian was preceded in death by both of his parents, Robert and Heidi, and his brother, Joseph Figueroa. He is survived by his wife Lindsay and their two daughters, Lillyan Lucille and Vivian Josephine Rose, ages two years and eight months respectively. He was a loving father and husband, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A service will be held in Christian’s memory at River Community Church on Saturday, November 4. Visitation will occur from 11 AM to 1 PM, with the service to follow at 1 PM. Gravesite arrangements are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a GoFundMe (Christian Pinna) to help cover expenses related to Christian’s death and provide support for the next few months.
