Very sorry to hear of Lu’s passing. He was at our reunion, so many of us just saw him and are shocked at this news. We pray for peace and comfort for the family at this time.

Love you so much and miss you so much daddy. I pray you know how much you meant to us. I’m so thankful that he was reunited w/his classmates. In the end, he really knew who was there for him. Always had a joke and never met a stranger. The best Daddy that literally could fix anything. Daddy, you are home now and pain free. I love you forever and I’ll see you again. Love your oldest daughter ❤️

We were able to visit with Lu at the class reunion at the end of October, so this is a shock, praying for the family.

We are so sorry and dismayed to see this. We saw Lu last at our recent Central High School Class of 1967 class reunion held at Alvin and Carlisa Bargas’ home in Baton Rouge. He was one of our favorite classmates with his own distinct personality. We send our deepest condolences to his family and will miss him at our next class reunion.
