Barbara Jean “Bobbie” Holden Stephenson, born on December 6, 1937, was called to her heavenly home on February 22, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She resided in Walker and Denham Springs in her lifetime and was a faithful member of Abundant Life Church. Barbara was blessed with the ability to make you feel special, no matter your status in life. Her legacy is her family and she would let you know her family was her life! She was a strong willed and successful businesswoman and truly was a joy to be around. Barbara will always be in our hearts and will be lovingly remembered for her unwavering faith in God and for the memories left with those who were blessed to know her. Her presence and counsel in our lives will always be felt.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Whit and Violet Holden, her sister and brother in law, Billie and Boyd Herring.
Survived by her loving daughter and son in law, Cindy S. and Gene O. “Buster” Quirk, Jr., her cherished grandsons, Scott, Todd and Trey Quirk, her great grandchildren, Ainsley, Brinley, Rhett, Oliver and Rigsby Quirk and her loving and devoted friend, Jocie Beatty. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Life Source Hospice for their compassionate care given to Barbara, especially Amber Collins and gratitude to Barbara’s sitters for their unselfish love and care.
