Adrian Jenkins, age 82, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024, at his home in Denham Springs. Adrian was born in Mount Hermon, Louisiana on September 8, 1941, to Willie and Delsie Jenkins.

Adrian started his own engineering firm, Industrial Technical Services, Inc. in 1973 and retired in 2005. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Adrian had a passion for collecting antiques of all kinds, but especially antique engines and old John Deere tractors. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed metal and wood working.

Adrian will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Lori Jenkins, as well as his children and their spouses: Adrienne and Chad Clark, Waylon Deane, and Derreck and Randi Deane. He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry and Tommie Jenkins of Livingston, and Lester and Arlene Jenkins of Silver Creek, Mississippi; Grandchildren: Kyle Jenkins, Mitch Kramer, Jade Jenkins, Brittnee Granade, Madison Deane, Cameron Deane, Taylor Matthews, Payton Deane, Kyle Clark, Addison Clark, Charleigh Clark, Elizabeth Clark, and Laura Clark; Great-grandchildren: Sidney, Madelyn, Sadie, and Josie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Willie Jenkins and Delsie Givens Jenkins; brother and sister-in-law Abner and Faye Jenkins; and his four sons: Thomas “Tom” Jenkins, Richard “Dickie” Jenkins, Michael “Mike” Jenkins, and Don Jenkins.

Adrian will be remembered for his big heart and infectious smile. He touched many lives with his generosity and would help anyone in need, whether he knew them for 50 years or 5 minutes. There are no services scheduled.

    Hey Lori
    Just want to give you my thoughts and prayers I think of yall often I still remember the first time I met him , him and chuck went looking at tractors and I was home all day cooking and when they got there chuck would not eat cause they had stop to eat I was mad and Adrian started making jokes and had me laughing

    You have no idea what you mean to me and my family. We will forever be indebted to you for all that you did for us. Thank you for teaching me the skills of Archery, welding and being the best Poppo I can be. You will be deeply missed. Give Debbie and big hug for me and introduce her to the Deerfield gang.

    Lori, Johnny and I just heard. We are so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting this very kind and gentle man at your parents home. It was like he knew someone all their lives. Prayers for all of you.
