Bill, 85, was born in Nampa, Idaho on Saturday October 8, 1938. He passed away after a short illness on March 21, 2024. He was the loving husband of almost 50 years and father of two children and two stepchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents William and Thelma Jordan, His Wife Ruth, stepchildren Donna and Debbie Mizner and his brother Don. Bill retired from the navy after 21 years as an E-8 Senior Chief Petty Officer. Where he served the majority of his career on an aircraft carrier with his last years at the naval weapons center in China Lake California. He then went to work for Hewett Packard in Boise Idaho as a manager. After retirement from HP he worked for the City of Caldwell ID on the golf course and finally the city of Nampa ID as the handicap transit manager and safety. Bill is survived by his two children Dorthy McClendon, and David Jordan; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and brother Larry Jordan. Bill made friends everywhere he went. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home Sunday, March 24 2:00p.m. until 4:00p.m. and burial will be held at Louisiana National Cemetery at 10:00a.m. Monday March 25th.
