Warren “Sleepy” Richard passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the age of 81. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Exxon with over twenty-five years of service. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years Pat Richard; two sons Jimmy Richard and wife Jeana Schram Richard, and David Richard and fiancรฉ Tiffany; daughter Dana Richard Buhler and husband Chris; eight grandchildren Lauren Richard, Landon Richard, Lindsey Richard, Ashlyn Buhler, Chrislyn Buhler, Breelyn Buhler, Raelyn Richard, and Dalton Richard; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Bonnie Emile Richard and Audrey Elizabeth Fontenot Richard, brother James Earl Richard; sister Bonnie Marie Richard. ย A memorial visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Friday, March 29, 2024 beginning at 11:00am until 12:30pm. This will be a time for anyone wanting to say a few words about Warren. Pastor Esther Holmes will conduct a celebration of life service at 12:30pm followed by military honors. Sleepy was a people person and never met a stranger and was loved by all. He will be missed by all who knew him. I’m sorry to see the passing of Warren. We all will miss his friendship! I enjoyed my friendship with him at both the ExxonMobil refinery and the Cajun Clickers Computer Club. My prayers go to the Richard family. Amen!

Thank you for choosing us as his Hospice. I am very grateful to each one of you for the love and support you all shown during this difficult journey he had. We saw love in each one of you including stroking his beautiful hair, holding his hand, kiss on the cheek, I love you dad, Thank you!
