Barrett Warner Zuelke, 29, passed away on March 24, 2024. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 27, 1994, and he attended French Settlement High School. Barrett worked as  a level three rope access technician and then started his own business, ‘Uncle B’s LLC’. He was an avid duck hunter, outdoorsman, as well as a mechanical genius that could fix almost
anything. He had countless talents and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, off-roading, and spending time with his precious baby Hallie, his wife Lana, and his family and
friends.

 

He is survived by his wife of four years, Lana Thomas Zuelke, daughter Hallie Rae Zuelke, parents Otto J. Zuelke III and April K. Zuelke of Port Vincent, sisters Aubrey Zuelke of California and Heidi Zuelke Padilla (César Alexander Padilla Salinas) of Port Vincent, brother Julius Von Zuelke (Kalyn Zuelke) of Denham Springs, nieces Adelle and Alma Zuelke Padilla, and Paige
Boudreaux, nephews Julius Von Zuelke Jr., Barren Von Zuelke, and Victor Paul Roth Jr., grandparents Jackie Tallant of Mississippi and Veri Killpack of Washington, Uncle Dale Zuelke, cousin Laura Zuelke, and extended family.

 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto J. Zuelke Jr. and Martha N. Zuelke.

 

Pallbearers are Jake Culler, Crews Culler, Tyler Breaux, Aaron Joslyn, Garrett Guidroz, and Julius Zuelke.
Honorary Pallbearers are Blayne Watts, Gaddy Terry, Jeffry Shaffer, Landis Yelverton, Kyle Hardy, John Brooks, Frank Fowler, César Alexander Padilla Salinas, and Brad Aydell.

 

A Special thanks to the countless friends and community that have supported Barrett’s family through this difficult time.

 

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Livingston Church from 10:30 am until 1 pm with a service starting at 1 pm. Livingston Church is located at 26490 S Frost Rd,
Livingston, La 70754. At a later date, his ashes will be left in his two favorite places, Venice, LA and Lake Maurepas.

    Julius was the epitomy of a “Louisiana man!” He used his gifts to the utmost. He was loved and admired by all who knew him.
