Elaine Judith Glover Borskey passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the age of 69. A native of Baton Rouge and 1973 graduate of Glen Oaks High School where she also coordinated the school reunions. Elaine spent her short career as a Teamster Truck Driver.

She is survived by her daughter Jessica Lyn Brickert, son Michael David Charleville and wife Brooke; grandchildren Cora and Holt Charleville and Victoria and Lauren Brickert; sister Bonnie Glover Williams, brother-in-law Dr. Michael Everson, niece Michelle Everson Gentry and nephew Dr. Blane Patrick Williams, sisters-in-law Kathy Ringe, Deanna Landry (Gary), and Christy Palermo (Guy), brothers-in-law, Rick Borskey (Robyn) and Jerry Borskey (Phyllis), and many nieces Sara Small, Karen Borskey, Kimberly Borskey, Shawn Kazmir, Amanda Landry, Hannah Borskey, Olivia Borskey, Emily Palermo, and Maddie Palermo, nephews, Matt Small, Zachary Small, Ryan Kleinpeter, Michael Ringe, Troy Ringe, Corey Ringe, Jeremy Landry, Jacob Borskey, Freddie Fossier, Bryant Fossier, and Christian Fossier.

She was preceded in death in just three weeks by the love of her life and husband of forty-two years James Borskey; father Daniel Percy Glover; mother Julia Alice Toups Glover; sister Janelle Alice Glover Everson; and nephew Aaron Michael Williams, sisters-in-law, Isabelle Gascon, Patricia Small, and Tammy Seals, niece Angelica Borskey, father-in-law, Shurman L. Borskey, mother-in-law, Myrtle Munson Borskey.

She was a Bassmaster Lifetime member and loved fishing. She was also dedicated to LSU and had a love for cats and dogs. She volunteered as a dog transporter at the Bossier City Area Rescue and at Bass Masters and other fishing tournaments.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the Hood family for all they have done. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

    Elaine is such an integral part of my life . Her presence has blessed us all and not having her in it will darken the world.

    Awesome Obituary. She was such a wonderful person, a friend and classmate! Pookie loved her GOHS and did so much to get the All Classes reunion going. We all will miss her dearly! Fly high my friend, love you Pookie!!
