Lorena Thibodeaux McCorkle, was called home to heaven at the age of 74 on April 3, 2024. Lorena was a loving homemaker for her family. Lorena is survived by her daughter, Angela McCorkle; sons, Russell McCorkle (Rhonda), John McCorkle; grandson, Brendan McCorkle; sister, Phillys Gautreau (Joe); sister-in-law, Annette Thibodeaux; in laws, Jesse McCorkle, Julia Higginbotham, Katie and Jim Langley, Nettie and Robert Toms, Kelly Watts; many nieces and nephews. Lorena is preceded in death by her husband, Russell McCorkle, Sr.; parents, Johnnie and Esther Thibodeaux; brother, Joseph Thibodeaux; sister, Sharlet Hudspeth; in laws, Henry and Julia McCorkle, Mark Higginbotham, Donald and Mary McCorkle, Angie McCorkle, Mildred Watts. Pallbearers will be: Russell McCorkle, John McCorkle, Eric Kitchens, Jude Carrier, Joe White, Walter Johnson. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Harvest Manor Healthcare and Lifesource Hospice. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 9am – 11am at Seale Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:30am at Salem Cemetery.
