Allen James Dutsch, a beloved son, cousin, and member of the Denham Springs community, passed away on April 21, 2024. Born in Baton Rouge on August 20, 1943 to Yvonne and Victor Dutsch, Allen was a man of many talents and passions. Throughout his life, Allen pursued various careers with dedication and skill. He worked as a heavy equipment operator, landlord, bricklayer, electrical apprentice, auto salesperson and mechanic. His diverse professional background reflected his unwavering work ethic and commitment to providing for himself and those he cared for. Beyond his professional pursuits, Allen was known for his kindness towards others. He had an infectious sense of humor that could brighten anyone’s day. His warm smile would light up any room he entered. In addition to being hardworking and compassionate in all aspects of his life; Allen also found time to give back to his family, by being a devoted mentor to Jimmy Dutsch and Dennis Hawes. A Masonic service will be held at Seale Funeral Home on Friday May 3, 2024 from 4-6pm followed by the service beginning at 6pm . The family requests donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers. Allen is survived by numerous cousins and other family members who will cherish memories of him forever. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Jensen (uncle), George “Ricky “ Dutsch (cousin), David Dutsch (cousin) and many others. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Gentiva Hospice for their utmost care during Allen’s final days. Allen James Dutsch will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the love he shared with those around him – may we honor that memory by carrying it forward in our own lives.

    Mr.Allen was a great man.
    I will miss him dearly. His laugh was infectious! Thank you for everything you did for us.

    Only knowing Mr.Allen for a little more than 2 years,he .ade a great impact. He was a wise and kind man to say the least. He was always willing to help ANYONE he could when they needed it. We will miss you Mr.Alllen.
